Food & Drink
The UK's largest manufacturing sector, taught the way its knowledge actually divides: a shared foundations course covering what every food and drink site has in common (HACCP floors, CIP and washdown, trade effluent, the CCA landscape, cold plant and heat recovery), and process courses that build on it: brewing, food manufacturing, and dairy processing. Start with the foundations; the process courses assume them.

Food & Drink Foundations
The shared block every food and drink site runs on: the food safety floors no measure may cross, hygiene as a hidden utility, effluent and the CCA landscape, and the cold-plant and heat-recovery patterns that recur from brewhouse to dairy. The process courses assume this grounding.
Start course →Energy Management in Breweries
The brewing process and where energy enters it, brewery-specific benchmarks, and the heat-recovery and refrigeration opportunities unique to a brewhouse, capped with a full brewery energy audit. Assumes the Food & Drink Foundations course.
Start course →Energy Management in Food Manufacturing
How a food factory uses energy line by line, specific energy per tonne, and the cooking, freezing and heat-recovery opportunities the sector reliably offers, capped with a full factory energy audit. Assumes the Food & Drink Foundations course.
Start course →Energy Management in Dairies
Milk through pasteurisers, separators, ice water and (on powder sites) the sector's hungriest unit operation: dairy-specific loads and benchmarks, the spring flush, whey and co-products, and the regeneration and ice-bank opportunities unique to dairy processing, capped with a full dairy energy audit. Assumes the Food & Drink Foundations course.
