Capstone: Compressed Air Diagnostics
Hands-on: quantify leaks, idling, pressure and heat-recovery savings, then diagnose and fix eight real compressed-air call-outs.

Compressed air is the most expensive utility on most sites โ typically only about 10% of the electricity that goes into a compressor ends up as useful work at the tool. That makes the compressor house one of the richest places to find savings, if you know how to look. This capstone puts you there as the auditor. Some of these call-outs you'll crack with a quick sum โ a leak load, the cost of a compressor idling, a pressure saving, recoverable heat. Others you reason out from the symptoms. Read the raw panel, work out what the waste is worth, then diagnose the root cause and prescribe the fix.
