Identifying & Quantifying Savings

Trap replacement, insulation, condensate recovery, and pressure optimisation.

Steam systems reward the methodical. The losses this course has walked through, flue and blowdown at the boiler, radiation in the mains, blowing traps, dumped condensate and vented flash, are all independently findable, priceable and fixable, and together they routinely add up to 15 to 30% of a site's steam fuel. This closing lesson assembles them into a sequenced programme, gathers the course's worked figures into one view, and sets the management routine that keeps the savings captured.
