Commissioning can find every fault, tune every loop and prove every rating, and still fail, if the knowledge it generated leaves the site in the commissioning agent's head. Handover documentation is what turns a commissioned building into an operable one: the record of how the systems are set up, how to run them, and how to keep them performing. Poor handover is why so many well-commissioned buildings drift back to waste within a year, because the operators who inherit them never learn how they were meant to work. This lesson covers what a good handover package contains and why each part matters.
