Performance Testing & Verification

Balanced flows and correct control sequences prove a system is set up right; performance testing proves the plant itself delivers the capacity and efficiency it was specified for. A chiller that should make 100 kW of cooling but manages only 85 is a fault the sequence tests would never reveal, because the controls are behaving perfectly, calling for cooling the plant cannot supply.
