You've learned how motors work, where they lose energy, why efficiency class and sizing matter, what variable-speed drives do, and how power factor and demand drive the bill. This capstone puts you on the shop floor as the auditor โ€” and like real life, the answer is often a calculation away, and sometimes the right move is to do nothing yet. Some of these call-outs you'll crack with a quick sum โ€” a load factor, an affinity-law saving, a power-factor correction, a payback. Others you reason out from the symptoms. And a couple are financial judgments: rewind or replace, upgrade now or wait for failure. Read the raw panel, work out what the prize is worth, then diagnose and prescribe.
